My beloved never wore jewellery but said for a lon

My beloved never wore jewellery but said for a long time that he wanted a gold signet ring. For his birthday in August I made this ring. I carved the base ring out of wax, casted it in gold and of course as finishing touch a dendrite stone in it. I think they also fit well with a more robust design.

This small vase is inspired by the beautiful medieval illustration of herb and plants. The illustration in medieval herbs are mystic and shows a lot of knowledge about the plants they portray. These original illustrations were created primarily for identification in nature and are portrayed with human or animal representations and full of signs and symbols.

Although I’m more of a ‘forest’ kind of pers

Although I’m more of a ‘forest’ kind of person, we went to lots of different beaches this summer. How incredibly beautiful are the beaches in Devon and Cornwall. But we had the most fun on the beach in Margate where we found beautiful shells and underwater creations. The shells the children found are now at the bottom of our guppies aquarium. And I came home with new inspiration and made this tulip vase.

This week we said goodbye to this lovely place. We

This week we said goodbye to this lovely place. We will miss the beautiful garden, but also my lovely studio and the conservatory where we did a lot of crafting last year. But we have moved to a beautiful house in the middle of Norwich city and close to the children’s school. Cycling to school and more excitement around us, that’s what we needed.

The jewellery in the jewellery box is made of a go

The jewellery in the jewellery box is made of a gold bracelet. My friend Annelore’s bracelet turned into a ring with a dark pink heart. The rest of the bracelet is made in 3 small gold hearts for her lovely daughters. And because 4 hearts together form a four-leaf clover, this of course had to form the basic shape of the jewellery box. Each part of the clover contains a personal illustration and name.

I'm making new jewellery for the @localmakersmarke

I'm making new jewellery for the @localmakersmarket in May in Norwich. I have mainly made gold jewellery, but I will mainly sell silver jewellery or combined silver and 9 carat gold. This ring and pendant are combined 9 carat gold and silver.
